Ansie Baird teaches part-time at The Buffalo Seminary as

their Poet in Residence. She is a former editor of Earth's

Daughters, taught for many years for Just Buffalo in their

Writers in Education program, has published poems in The

Paris Review, Southern Quarterly Review, The Quarterly

(Knopf) and other journals. Her book, In Advance Of All

Parting, won the fourteenth annual White Pine Press national

poetry competition and was published by White Pine Press in 2009.
